Join us and help her see life the way we do – Cancer Pledge

Whether you are a mother, a father, a sister, a brother, or even a friend, you can definitely help this warm mother and show her that love, mercy, forgiveness, and joy that exist in her heart also exist in other people’s hearts..

Suhaila is 64 year-olds and is a cancer patient. More importantly, Suhaila is a mother. She was diagnosed last year with a cancerous tumor in her appendix and had an operation to remove the growth. She now needs chemotherapy and possibly additional surgery in order to achieve a cure and return to the role she so dearly cherishes; that of a nourishing mother.

Help us in providing her a wonderful life to come, by collecting donations for her http://www.cancerpledges.com/SelectPledge.aspx?P_ID=16

Hope Window First Event

This is our first event which was held on July-30th-2010, it was dedicated for giving a helping hand for families in need which are taken care of by Silwan Charitable Society, a non profit organization in Amman Jordan which provides monthly allowances for 32 families in need, other families and people which are not tied to a frequent allowance, the orphanage in Bayader Wadi Al-Seer, and the residents of Bayader Wadi Al-Seer which need help and get referenced by the Ministry of Social Development of Jordan.

We have collected over 300 items ranging from new and used clothes mostly to some stationary and money donations.

The collected items have been classified, organized and then given to people in need.  The families which got their allowance in the beginning of August 2010, had the opportunity to pick the stuff they liked and took with them, other families which the allowance are sent to by the Society driver, were also given clothes and got them delivered to their door.

We thank each and everyone who helped and made it possible for this to happen, and drawn a smile on someones face :)

Here some photos taken at the event:
